Remote Sr Network Performance Engineer needs (3) years experience supporting, monitoring, configuring, and implementing enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors on a large enterprise and global scale

Remote Sr Network Performance Engineer requires:
• Experience with Python, Linux, and Windows OS
• Five (5) years experience with Cisco and Riverbed Management tools, to include NetIM, Netprofiler, Nexus Data Broker, Nexus 9k series switches, AppResponse, Expert, DNA-Center, Cisco Prime, packet capture and analysis using Wireshark
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements and translating into creditable, high quality and resilient designs based upon the organization’s roadmaps and standard
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE R&S, CCIE Datacenter, CCDE, CISSP, GSEC, GIAC or AWS Networking Specialist are desirable
• Experience with network automation platforms (ex. Ansible)
• Experience collecting and troubleshooting problems using network packets
• Experience with scripting to support network automation, troubleshooting and infrastructure support

Remote Sr Network Performance Engineer duties:
• Design deploy and support Global Network Performance Management Infrastructures utilizing industry best practices
• Contribute to the build out and deployment of Network Monitoring tools and Disaster Recovery strategy and configuration
• Collaborate with other technical Infrastructure Teams
• Collaborate with Application SMEs
• Collaborate with Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) on protocol risk
• Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment
• Advise management of options, risk vs. cost, benefits and other impacts of infrastructure solutions
• Set technical standards for network monitoring of infrastructure, security baselines, policies and procedures
• Work with outsource vendor to drive sound architectures, engineering designs, and configuration templates
• Maintain, troubleshoot, support and improve existing network performance monitoring tools
• Train users of network management tools
• Create runbooks leveraging network management tools
• Installing and configuring Network Management tools
• Migrating data into production network management tools
