Operations Technician
at Crestwood LP in Michigan
Crestwood Services, L.P. is currently looking for an entry level Operations Technician at our Alto, MI location. This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment and handling product receipt and delivery as well as the loading and unloading of railcars and trucks. In addition, the individual in this position will conduct driver orientations and enforce company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS will include the following:
• Operate a propane/butane storage terminal with rail and truck loading/unloading facilities
• Perform various tasks including, but not limited to periodic inspections of equipment, troubleshoot process related issues to submit proper work request, and complete weekly maintenance work orders
• Maintain the grounds including general maintenance, painting, mowing, snow plowing etc.
• Coordinate the delivery and receipt of propane and butane
• Test system safety devices and periodic inspection/calibration of process equipment
• Conduct driver orientations and enforce company policies and procedures along with creating work permits and hazard assessments
• Comply with OSHA 1910.119 PSM regulation as it applies to the Alto operation
• Perform and document product quality testing
• Complete required computer-based training
• Ability to occasionally travel to work or field locations, and/or to attend meetings or training
