Class A Truck Driver

Ready to build a career and help in the daily operation of a road haul truck in an active mine environment. Galaxy Employment is assisting CDL (A) ORE Drivers in Carlin, NV and connecting with them with biggest employers around the world.

Retention sign-on bonus of $4,000 for eligible new hires and 60-day housing assistance available!

$1000 paid after orientation
$1000 paid after 60 days
$1000 paid after 180 days
$1000 paid after 1 year
Relocation bonus of $3,000:

$1000 paid after 30 days
$1000 paid after 60 days
$1000 paid after 90 days

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

Safely and efficiently operate a haul truck
Know the work area and dump locations in the mine
Knowledge of pit policies and procedures
Compliance with all company protocol
Education, Experience and Certifications

Class A Commercial Driver’s License
6 months of commercial driving experience
Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner’s Certificate Card (MEC)
Doubles and Triples Endorsement
Blind spot recognition
Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented verbally
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in written form
