Embedded Software Engineer
at Sovereign Technologies in Indiana
Day to Day:
• Revamping a forklift, electric powered. Adding and updated main controller and processor, updating a display to a clear processor.
• Integrating a few aux controllers, additional new features
• Everything communicates via CAN open
• Embedded C++ working on microprocessor
• Working through current code base and checking/revalidating architecture to satisfy feature for the truck. Developing architecture for new features they are implementing.
• Working with set goals and making sure they are creating architecture for new feature, working with systems engineer
Must Have:
• Requires BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience in C++. need software systems experience/software integration.
• CAN protocols
