Security Staff

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to) patrolling and monitoring activities on premise regularly, controlling/inspecting entrance and exits of team members, visitors, vendors, trucks and vehicles according to protocols, guarding access points, permitting or refusing entry as deemed appropriate and per protocol, monitor surveillance cameras reporting or taking action for any disruptions, monitoring and operating security systems, monitoring parameter and grounds (by foot and/or vehicle), complete reports/paperwork as directed, work employee sales, answer phones during weekend/evening hours, etc.

Ideal candidates will have the desire to work together with the Agri Star team to ensure our facility is safe, secure and controlled. Being visible and observant at all times, courteous and attentive to foot/vehicle traffic and responding quickly to distress calls, alarms or emergencies requiring assistance are a must.
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver license or ability to obtain
• Able to communicate effectively
• Able to demonstrate leadership skills in a team setting
• Must be alert, pay attention to detail, honest, and physically able to keep up with duties assigned
• Able to work in a safe, efficient manner while handling several tasks concurrently
• Able to stand for entire work shift
• Able to sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend climb, lift etc. as deemed appropriate for completion of job duties
• Reliable and punctual; be willing to assist with shift coverage when needed
• No minimum education required
• Experience not necessary but preferred
• Must pass background check
• Certification in first aid, CPR/BLS (or desire to obtain and practice) preferred
