PeopleReady is now hiringSanitation Workers in theFresno, CA area. Immediate opportunity!
Note - Pay rate for this job is $16.00/Hour
Shift timing - All Available
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keeps employee breakroom area clean â€“ includes sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, andkeeping table tops clean
• Refills all paper towel dispensers
• Cleans, mops, washes, buffs floors (sometimes utilizing heavy duty equipment)
• Organizes recycling, wraps up pallets, and takes out trash to dumpster w/ forklift
• Takes out spill pallets to wash (occasionally requires use of forklift)
• Occasionally cleans walls and/or other infrequent areas as needed
• Changes foot baths on production floor
• Performs other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Able to work and thrive in a team environment
• Works inclusively and collaboratively within assigned shift and across all shifts
• Holds self and others accountable
• Prior Forklift certification preferred - company will do own certification
• Understands chemical safety
• Able to read and understand labels
• Pays attention to handling and storage details
• Effectively manages time

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school education or higher
• Background check and Drug screen required.
• Reliable transportation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, walking, repetitivemovement, and standing for long periods of time
• Requires exposure to hazardous equipment in a shop or production environment
• Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions
• Requires working indoors in office setting
