Job Description

PeopleReady is looking forFreezer Forklift Operator.
Shift Timings - All Available.
Responsibilities Include:

• Actively supports all employees and customers in a positive, respectful manner
• Possesses a willingness to work harmoniously with others to get a job done
• Able to drive a reach stand-up forklift & sit-down forklift
• Will unload trucks and stage product within the freezer via forklift
• Pulls fruit from freezer based on production schedule
• Completes all required documentation
• Able to follow directions
• Works both as a team and individually
• Able to communicate needs to supervisor
• Follows Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), (SOPs) and Standard
• Works in busy, cold production environment (freezer suit provided)
• Hair nets, beard nets, bump cap, gloves, goggles, rubber boots, rain gear or other PPE as
• required by position
• Appropriate freezer protection clothing
• Works assigned shift and with overtime as needed
• Assists in other departments as needed/requested

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to operate sit down and stand up forklift
• Frequently stoops, bends, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs, reaches, twists, grasps, and makes
• repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties
• Lifts, carries, pushes, and/or pulls at least 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift
• Pushes and/or pulls 120 lbs. as needed
• Able to maneuver up and down stairs
• Able to work in a freezer and cold storage environment (-14⁰); in and out, not constant

Qualifications:

• Drug Screen Required
• Must pass drug/physical screenings and background check
• Has reliable transportation
• Able and willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• High school education or higher
• Able to understand and follow direction and instructions
• Able to speak, read and write the English language
• Works safely and is aware of details
• Has experience to safely operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks
• Has experience or is willing to learn/operate stand up forklifts
