Technical Writer needs 5 years’ experience
Technical Writer requires:
 Bachelors Degree
 Proven experience working in a technical writing position
 Excellent written and verbal communication skill
 Proficiency in MS Office
 Strong attention to detail
 Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
 Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
 Take complex, technical information and translate it for colleagues and consumers who have nontechnical backgrounds.
 Create detailed instructions for others to follow. As a result, they must be detailed and precise at every step so that the instructions can be useful
 Understand and then explain highly technical information.
 Background in engineering or computer science in order to do this.
 Excellent writing skills to be able to explain technical information clearly.

Technical Writer duties:
 Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, or instructions.
 Meet with subject matter experts to establish business process specifications.
 Create user documentation for a variety of material, including how-to guides and instruction manuals, flow charts and RACI Charts
 Prepare charts, graphs, or forms to go along with rough drafts.
 Document clear and concise policies and procedures
 Submit copies to managers for feedback.
 Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling.
 Release the document following final approval.
 Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
 Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts
 Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
 Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
