The PeopleReady located at Corona, California, 92883 is currently hiring a Payroll Clerk

Job Description
A Payroll Clerk is responsible for performing data entry and reconciling timecards, distributing paychecks and statements to department managers, answering inquiries from employees and vendors, ensuring compliance with current government regulations, preparing accruals and reconciling to the general ledger.
Pay Rate for this Job is $17/Hour - $18/Hour
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data
• Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions
• Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages
• Calculating payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes, including federal and state income and social security tax, and calculating employer payments for social security, unemployment and worker compensation
• Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
• Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
• Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years Required
• Discernment for safety
• Good judgment and attention to detail.
• Background Check Required
• Drug Test Required
