Job Description
This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality, user-centric experiences using modern Android technologies like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. You will work on both new initiatives and existing applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including backend, iOS, QA, and product stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Implement scalable architecture patterns such as MVI and/or MVVM with clean architecture principles
• Build secure authentication systems including OAuth 2.0, biometric authentication, and encrypted storage
• Develop offline-first applications using Room and synchronization strategies
• Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp
• Write robust unit tests using JUnit and MockK, and UI tests using Espresso
• Monitor and optimize app performance (memory, battery, network, ANRs, and UI jank)
• Implement analytics and tracking for user behavior and feature adoption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
• Strong expertise in:
o Kotlin (Coroutines, Flow, sealed classes, extension functions)
o Jetpack Compose, Compose Navigation, ViewModel
o Android SDK and Android Studio
• Proven experience implementing MVI and/or MVVM architecture
• Solid understanding of clean architecture and modular app design
• Experience with dependency injection (Hilt)
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend integrations
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks
• Experience with Firebase (FCM, Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config)
• Familiarity with Android privacy practices (permissions, scoped storage)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with biometric authentication and secure coding practices
• Knowledge of certificate pinning and data encryption
• Experience with performance monitoring tools and Android Profiler
• Familiarity with WorkManager, foreground services, and battery optimization
• Experience building Android widgets (Glance)
• Exposure to OpenAPI, Postman, and API testing tools
• Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub portfolio
