The DBT Developer will lead the development and implementation of data transformation workflows using DBT in a cloud-based data environment. This role requires strong SQL and data modeling expertise, along with hands-on experience in building scalable, modular, and reusable data pipelines. The developer will work closely with data teams to design efficient data models, ensure code quality, and support data warehousing initiatives.

Requirements:
6–9 years of experience in DBT (Data Build Tool) and data development
Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation.
Experience with DBT core concepts and workflows.
Hands-on experience in data modeling (3–5 years).
Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses (3–5 years).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control tools like Git.
Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
Lead and execute DBT development activities, including model design and implementation.
Build and maintain modular, reusable, and testable DBT models.
Write optimized SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
Design and implement data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
Work with Snowflake and cloud data warehouse environments.
Ensure adherence to data warehousing principles and best practices.
Implement version control and CI/CD workflows using tools like Git.
Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of data pipelines.
