Alliance Workforce Solutions has partnered with a growing aviation organization whose accounting department is expanding. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing or aviation (preferred) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online.

About the Role
This position plays a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow through accurate billing, collections, and customer account management. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and confident working with financial systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment application, and collections
Process customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards, and wire transfers) and reconcile accounts daily
Maintain accurate customer records and aging reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Generate and analyze AR reports using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, aging schedules)
Follow up on past-due accounts and resolve billing discrepancies with customers
Prepare monthly AR reconciliations and assist with month-end close
Respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries regarding invoices and payments
Support general accounting functions and assist the accounting team as needed

Required Qualifications
1+ years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, charts)
Excellent computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and multitasking ability
Solid understanding of accounting principles and AR best practices
Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal)
High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance is a plus)
