Role Overview
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for executing daily social media activities across all platforms, ensuring consistent brand presence, strong audience engagement, and effective communication with customers. This role manages content publishing, real-time engagement, and platform optimization to support marketing campaigns, increase brand awareness, drive customer traffic to outlets, and strengthen the company'”


Key Responsibilities

1. Content Publishing & Platform Management

Execute daily publishing of approved content across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business).
Ensure 100% adherence to the approved content calendar.
Format and optimize content appropriately for each platform.
Upload and schedule posts using social media management tools
Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual standards.
Support real-time posting during activations, events, or marketing campaigns.

2. Community Engagement & Customer Interaction
Monitor all social platforms for comments, messages, tags, and mentions.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints.
Escalate sensitive customer issues to the Brand Content & Community Lead when necessary.
Engage audiences through conversations, polls, replies, and interactive content.
Foster positive relationships with customers and the brand community.


3. Social Media Monitoring & Reporting
Track engagement metrics such as likes, shares, comments, reach, and follower growth.
Monitor social media trends and competitor activities.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
Provide insights to improve content performance and audience engagement.

4. Campaign Support
Assist in executing social media campaigns for product launches, promotions, and events.
Support influencer collaborations and brand partnerships.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative campaign ideas.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
1 –3 years’ experience in social media management, preferably in: QSR, Food & Beverage , Hospitality , Retail , Lifestyle brands
Familiarity with: Social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn), Meta Business
Suite, Social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later), Canva or basic content tools, Social media analytics tools
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Good writing and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of content creation and social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
Ability to respond quickly and professionally to online interactions.
Creative mindset with attention to brand voice and detail.

Preferred Skills:
Basic graphic design knowledge (Canva, Adobe, Express, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later etc.).
Familiarity with short-form video content ,Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Passion for food, lifestyle, and community engagement brands.
