Job Title: Android Performance Engineer / Technology Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Android Performance Engineer with deep expertise in diagnosing, analyzing, and optimizing Android application and system performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Android OS architecture, performance tuning, and profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and deliver high-performance mobile applications.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Android performance engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.

• Deep understanding of Android OS architecture and performance bottlenecks.

• Hands-on expertise with Android profiling tools including:

Android Profiler

Perfetto

Systrace

Dumpsys

ADB

Battery Historian

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues in Android applications.

• Experience measuring and analyzing memory usage, energy consumption, power, and thermal metrics.

• Strong expertise in Android UI performance optimization, including:

View hierarchy optimization

RecyclerView performance tuning

Animation performance improvements

Overdraw reduction

• Strong understanding of mobile system architecture, including CPU, GPU, memory management, and power management.

• Experience with Android performance testing frameworks, such as:

Android Macrobenchmark

Android Microbenchmark

Espresso

• Ability to analyze performance data and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and deliver in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
