As a Market Intelligence Support intern, you will help produce timely, accurate analyses and recurring reports, including product, competitive, and distribution analyses. You will work with Market Intelligence team members on routine reporting and on special projects to deliver clear, professional data and insights to be shared with our internal business partners.
• Partner with Market Intelligence team members to build foundational knowledge of investment product positioning, marketing campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Learn and effectively use key databases, including Morningstar Direct, iMoneyNet, Bloomberg, eVestment, and other proprietary systems, to deliver informative outputs.
• Create competitive analyses and deliver insights and recommendations to requestors or team members.
• Identify trends in request activity and using team metrics from Salesforce and SharePoint and communicate findings accordingly.
• Network with colleagues across Market Intelligence, Proposal, and other teams within the firm.
• Stay current on finance and investment industry news and trends.
• Take part in ongoing department training, including product knowledge, presentation skills, and professional development seminars—to learn about career paths within Market Intelligence, Product Marketing and Management Division, and the firm at large.

HOURS/LOCATION:
• Full-time summer schedule working 37.5 hours/week and part-time school year schedule working 12-15 hours/week. Work hours can be flexible based on student’s schedule.
• 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)

• Hybrid work arrangement (in office / remote)

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or related degree required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Excel required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI preferred
• Knowledge of investment industry and mutual fund terminology preferred
• Knowledge of databases and large data querying preferred
