🔎 Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, PySpark, Object-Oriented Programming, and Big Data technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for enhancing and developing new features for an existing data processing framework, writing optimized code, and building standalone data transformation scripts based on business logic.
This role requires someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
⭐ Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement new features within an existing data framework using PySpark and Python.
Build standalone data transformation scripts using business rules and logic.
Work with large-scale data processing pipelines and optimize performance.
Troubleshoot complex data engineering and software issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration and processing initiatives.
Ensure delivery quality and adherence to engineering best practices.
🎯 Must-Have Skills
Python (advanced proficiency)
PySpark / Spark
Big Data ecosystems
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and meet project timelines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
💡 Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with AWS Cloud Services
Background in enterprise data engineering environments
📘 Minimum Experience
7+ years as a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer
