A full time accountant is required to work for a jewelry company  
Responsibilities:

Post daily accounting entries in the company's registers and journals
Maintain organization of accounting records and data
Perform account reconciliations at period ends
Own the aggregation and reconciliation of retail sales from all global sales channels
Assist with processing accounts payables and receivables
Assist with the preparation of sales tax filings
Generate analysis to support sales and buying forecasts
Assist in the preparation of period end reporting
Assist in the preparation of packaging buying forecasts
Assist with the tracking of employee
time-tracking, vacation tracking and employee incentive or wage programs as needed
Maintaining cost information
Processing duty drawbacks
Assist the Controller, Owner, Director of Operations with ad-hoc financial analysis
Oversee the accurate reporting of sales transactions feeding into accounting software from other platforms
Plan and reconcile physical inventory counts
Resolve system and inventory issues

$41.35/hr, 35 hours/week Monday-Friday- This is a permanent position.
1-2 years experience and accounting degree or equivalent required 

Preference for this position will be given to Canadians, permanent residents, new immigrants, indigenous peoples, vulnerable youth, older workers and people with disabilities with appropriate experience.
