Patter is a cutting-edge AI startup focused on making it simple for B2B SaaS companies to build and deploy custom AI agents. Our platform enables organisations to create, train and roll out purpose-built AI agents (e.g., for sales, support, workflow automation) without the usual technical complexity. We’re at the early stage of scaling our GTM (go-to-market) and need high-energy, driven SDRs who thrive on commission, love hunter mentality, and are excited to join a fast-moving, high-growth AI venture.

What you’ll be doing

As an SDR at Patter you will:

Identify, research and qualify high-potential leads (primarily B2B SaaS companies) that could benefit from deploying AI agents.

Make outbound outreach (via email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage prospects, spark interest, and set up meaningful discovery conversations.

Work closely with the founding team / sales lead to understand our AI-agent product value, differentiators, use cases and target personas.

Conduct initial discovery calls, ask the right questions to uncover pain-points (e.g., workflow inefficiencies, support automation, scaling needs), and articulate how Patter’s solution can help.

Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities, lead statuses, and pipeline in our CRM.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to feed back insights from the market (pain points, objections, competitive landscape) to refine our messaging and positioning.

Hit and exceed monthly / quarterly outreach, meeting-setting and conversion targets (to be agreed).

Be self-motivated, comfortable with autonomy, and motivated by owning your own commission income.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:

Proven experience in sales development, business-development or outbound hunting (ideally in B2B SaaS, tech, or AI space).

Excellent communication (verbal & written), persistence and ability to engage senior stakeholders (e.g., Heads of Sales, RevOps, Product) in SaaS organisations.

A strong hunter mindset — you thrive starting conversations, chasing leads, overcoming objections and closing the loop.

Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment, ambiguity is fine, you’re proactive and adapt quickly.

Ability to learn a new product (AI-agent builder) and communicate its value and use-cases effectively to a non-technical buyer.

Excellent organisational and CRM discipline — you keep track of your own pipeline, activities, metrics and follow-ups.

Strong self-motivation; since this is commission-only, you must be confident in your ability to generate pipeline and turn it into revenue.

Compensation & Commission Structure

This role is commission only.

We estimate an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £40,000 per annum once fully ramped.

The commission plan will be structured to reward you for qualified meetings, pipeline generation and closed deals (details to be discussed).

No fixed base salary; your earnings are tied to your performance and conversion from leads to revenue.
