Full-time Product Technical Support Specialist – HVAC (Field Role) | A-Power, Inc. | Boston, MA

A-Power is expanding fast, and we’re looking for a Field Product Technical Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support, training, and troubleshooting for our dealers and contractors across Massachusetts and the Greater Boston Area.

You will represent one of the industry’s fastest-growing equipment brands, A-Power, along with our other leading brands and product lines. As one of the largest local suppliers of HVAC products, A-Power gives you the platform, tools, and product depth to win big.

This is not a desk job, it’s a hands-on, in-the-field technical role for someone who’s comfortable diagnosing systems, training installers, and helping partners deliver flawless installs. What You Will Do:
• Provide on-site technical support for A-Power dealers and contractors, including system commissioning, installation review, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct dealer training sessions, product demos, and technical workshops to strengthen field performance and brand confidence.
• Support warranty evaluations and identify product or installation issues through in-person inspection and documentation.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure technical accuracy, smooth product rollouts, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the go-to field expert for A-Power’s HVAC systems, controls, and connected equipment.
• Collect real-world feedback from installers and relay insights to engineering and product development teams.

What We Are Looking For:
• 3 to 5 years of HVAC installation, service, or technical support experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of residential and light commercial systems — heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, and controls.
• Excellent communicator who can teach, troubleshoot, and build trust with contractors.
• Solid understanding of electrical and refrigeration fundamentals.
• Comfortable with regional travel across Boston, Worcester, Springfield, and surrounding areas.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle.

Compensation and Perks:
💰 Base Salary: ~$60,000 to $75,000 USD (based on experience)
🧭 Bonus: Performance-based incentives tied to service quality and territory impact
🚗 Extras: Mileage reimbursement (IRS rate), health benefits or stipend, 10 vacation + 3 personal/sick days
📈 Growth: Clear path to Technical Trainer, Product Manager, or Regional Support Lead as A-Power continues expanding
