Business Integration Specialist – Junior (775750)

📍 Location: 1915 Health Services Way (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

The Business Integration Specialist – Junior will support QPHE’s initiative to integrate NC HealthConnex for quality and population health improvement. This position blends strategic, analytical, and collaborative responsibilities — not purely technical — and requires the ability to connect business, data, and clinical domains effectively.

Responsibilities:

Support project implementation leveraging NC HealthConnex for quality and population health.

Coordinate with internal business and clinical units for operational execution.

Query, profile, and analyze large healthcare data sets to improve data quality and usability.

Gather, synthesize, and communicate feedback from internal and external stakeholders (providers, PHPs, NCDHHS divisions).

Assist in data-driven decision-making and program enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience:

Understanding of data policy, healthcare data ecosystem, health IT, quality measurement, and improvement – 3 yrs

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management – 3 yrs

Excellent verbal and written communication – 3 yrs

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders – 3 yrs

Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS for querying large datasets – 3 yrs

Familiarity with Medicaid, healthcare regulations, and standards – 2 yrs

Experience analyzing population health, care delivery, and clinical programs – 2 yrs

Understanding of clinical workflows, medical coding, EHR systems – 2 yrs

Knowledge of digital quality measurement – 2 yrs

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Medicaid and population health program models.

Familiarity with care management and quality improvement initiatives.

Understanding of clinical workflows and health IT systems.
