Are you passionate about empowering others and making a difference in the community services sector? Join our dynamic team at a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Fortitude Valley as a Trainer and Assessor for the CHC42021 Certificate IV in Community Services.
Location: Fortitude Valley, QLD
Employment Type: Casual/Part-Time/Contract (negotiable)
Mode of Delivery: Classroom & Online
Student Cohort: Domestic and International Students

About the Role:
We are registered training organization for RTO and CRICOS seeking qualified and experienced trainers to deliver and assess the CHC42021 Certificate IV in Community Services to a diverse cohort of domestic and international students. Delivery will occur both in our Fortitude Valley campus and online.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, compliant, and high-quality training sessions (face-to-face and online)
Assess student work in line with the requirements of the training package and RTO policies
Support student learning through feedback, mentoring, and guidance
Contribute to course development and continuous improvement
Maintain accurate training and assessment records
We are looking to engage with trainer and assessor who will be able to join our team and to assist us with following duties.

Application Process Activities:
Provide updated trainers matrix
Mapping profile against unit of competency
Assist consultants with Audit process and if needed attend ASQA interview

On approval of registration:
To prepare, deliver and monitor student progress
Provide support and guidance to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience. As per the requirement of ASQA and CRICOS
Develop and conduct training sessions
Facilitate and assess student's assessment for units of competency
Participate and contribute to the validation and moderation of learning resources and assessments
Identify and assess students who need additional learning support and provide feedback in a timely manner
Student file management
Maintain, develop, and modify learning resources and assessment tools as required
Participate in industry consultation activities and new programs as required

Requirements:
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Relevant qualifications in Community Services (minimum of Cert IV level)
Industry currency and experience in the community services sector and Individual support.
Experience delivering training to both domestic and international students preferred
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to facilitate online learning using relevant platforms (e.g., Zoom, Moodle, etc.)
Must pass be able to pass a Police Check
