A leading B2B solution provider are looking to recruit an IT Specialist for their Gaming studios in Bucharest, Romania
Your Role
Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, troubleshooting user-reported problems via email, phone, or ticketing systems, and escalating complex issues as needed.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), identifying and resolving performance issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment (computers, servers, printers) and handle component replacements or repairs.
Install, update, and configure software applications, resolving compatibility issues and ensuring proper licensing.
Support network-related tasks such as connectivity issues, IP configurations, and network hardware maintenance.
Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Coordinate with service providers to resolve internet connection issues.
Ensure timely response to incidents and adherence to SLA requirements.
Administer and maintain systems on Windows and Linux platforms, ensuring security, user management, and optimal system performance through updates and patches.
Document solutions, maintain a knowledge base, and share best practices to foster team collaboration.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies, actively pursuing relevant training and certifications.
Your Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on networking and systems administration.
Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls) and experience with troubleshooting and network monitoring tools.
Proficiency in managing server environments (Windows, Linux), including user management, system updates, and basic configuration.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and managing virtual environments.
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Customer-oriented with a professional attitude and the ability to provide effective support to users at all levels.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and share knowledge to contribute to team success.
Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating user guides and maintaining clear, organized records.
Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems is a plus.
Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
