A fast-growing B2B tech company in the sports and entertainment industry is looking to recruit an experienced and driven Accountant to join their expanding team in Sofia. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to play a key role in ensuring strong financial oversight and strategic support.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the full scope of accounting operations across both local and international entities. From daily financial processes to compliance, reporting, and cash flow monitoring, your expertise will help shape the company’s financial health and provide key insights to support decision-making.
Your Role
• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP/AR, VAT, payroll, reconciliations, and monthly closings
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial statements
• Manage cash flow planning and banking transactions
• Support budgeting and management reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting standards
Your Qualifications
• Fluency in English and strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial control, accounting, and reporting
• Proficient with Excel and ERP systems; payroll processing experience required
• Experience in a Big 5 audit firm is a strong advantage
