Structural Engineer needs 5 years of industry related experience with structure engineering and design
Structural Engineer requires:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil or Structural preferred
o 5 years of industry related experience with structure engineering and design
o Professional Engineer Certification
o PLS-POLE experience preferred, familiarity with 3D modeling software.
o Strong communication skills Solid IT skills.
o Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment
o Good organizational and planning skills.
Structural Engineer duties:
o Participate in the development and maintenance of the Engineering Standards.
o Prepare design of structural components for electrical power line and traffic intersection steel structures.
o Complete engineering calculations and analysis of structures. Ensure provision of proper inputs to designer team for structural fabrication drawings.
o Review structural drawings for adherence to engineering requirements and project requirements. Interprets contract documents, drawings, job work orders and customer specifications for structure requirements.
o Ensuring deliverables with required engineering details that meet organization standards and customer standards as applicable.
o Technical guidance for design reviews, investigation reports, and corporate standards and guidelines development and implementation.
