🏫 Position Summary

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in partnership with Brightways Solutions LTD, is recruiting qualified English (EFL/ESL/ESOL), French, and German language teachers to strengthen national language instruction across public secondary schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a government-led education reform and immerse yourself in the cultural and historical richness of Central Asia.

📌 Key Job Responsibilities

Teach up to 20 academic hours/week to students aged 1116.

Conduct 6 hours of extracurricular activities (ECAs) weekly.

Lead 2 hours/week of professional development workshops for local teachers.

Follow national curricula such as Cambridge Prepare (for English).

Use interactive, student-centered teaching strategies adapted to local learners.

Collaborate with local co-teachers for knowledge exchange.

Maintain academic records and assessment reports.

Uphold classroom discipline and foster an inclusive learning environment.

🎓 Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in:
TESOL, TEFL, Linguistics, English/French/German Philology, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related fields.

English teachers: TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate preferred (mandatory if degree is unrelated to English).

French teachers: DALF/DELF (B2+) preferred.

German teachers: Goethe-Institut B2/C1 or ZDfB preferred.

C1 level proficiency in the language of instruction required for non-native speakers.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of language teaching experience (school or institutional preferred).

International teaching experience strongly preferred.

Personal Qualities
Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Professionalism, cultural adaptability, and commitment to student development.

Genuine passion for language education and intercultural exchange.
