Stand-Up Forklift Operators (High-Reach)
at Freight Breakers in South Carolina
We are looking for dedicated and experienced stand-up forklift (high-reach truck) drivers in Richburg, SC!
Overview:
Associates are responsible for supporting the daily warehouse functions such as but not limited to receiving, shipping, auditing, document verification and inventory control. This position will consist of moving metal racks/pallets that are stacked up to 40 feet high to and from the loading dock, counting and verifying the SKUs and quantities of tires and removing poles from the metal racks/pallets. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have many pedestrians and narrow aisles, so driving safely is of the up most importance, as well as your overall skill on the high-reach forklift. We are a smaller team so when people call out, will all get assigned other tasks to help accomplish the goal for the day. Sometimes drivers are asked to load tires onto the conveyor belts.
In order to be considered for employment, you must pass an in person driving test during your initial interview. You will be observed for your safety awareness, comfortability on the lift/truck, as well as your efficiency/speed. Only apply to this position if you have experience using a high-reach stand-up forklift.
Pay:
· $21.00 per hour
· Full-Time (40+ hours weekly mandatory)
Requirements:
· Wear steel toe/composite toe shoes
· Has reliable transportation
· Reliable attendance
· Repetitive lifting (up to 70lbs), and continuous standing and stooping in a 12-hour shift
Experience:
· At least 1 year of previous high-reach forklift experience
Schedule:
· 2.2.3 Schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days)
· 1st shift (7am-7pm) or 2nd shift (7pm-7am) You will be off every other weekend
