Job Title: SAFETY OFFICER
Location: Port Harcourt
Salary: ₦4,800,000 Annually

We are currently seeking a motivated and competent safety officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Create safety policies and procedures that comply with local, state and federal regulations.

Conduct safety training programs for employees, including emergency response, first aid and fire drills etc.

Educate staff on proper equipment usage, personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols.

Ensure that safety standards are followed by the organization.

Maintain safety records and documentation for regular compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree' in Occupational Health, Safety Environmental science or any relevant field.

Minimum 12Years experience in safety management and the ability to work well under pressure.

Must possess a certificate in HSE Supervision and Leadership, General HSE, Fire Fighting and first Aid.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment techniques, excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to details.
