Full-time Manager Accounting

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, or Economics required. Master's Degree Business Administration is preferred
- 7 years experience in accounting related work required, healthcare experience is preferred
- CPA - Certified Public Accountant required
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) ; QuickBooks; ADP Payroll system
- Knowledge of insurance industry and CMS

What you Need to Know
- Establish and ensure departmental adherence to corporate policies, as well as applicable laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with applicable performance standards.
- Manage departmental activities to ensure accurate and timely accounting, financial and statistical reports, filings, and data.
- Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of the Controller.
- Lead and manage special projects that may necessitate cross-functional partnerships.
- Assist with preparation of all financial statements (including departmental), and with the invoicing of all clients (receivables) and payments to vendors (payables).
- Assist the Controller in all federal, state, and outside audits.
