Medical Office Coordinator 

Top healthcare organization on the seacoast is seeking a Medical Office Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis.  This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to get exposure to this well known facility and have the ability to use their medical office skills.  

Key responsibilities for the Medical Office Coordinator role include:

Providing excellent customer service while greeting patients, checking patients in and out, answering phones and scheduling patient appointments.

Filling, faxing and distributing mail.

Assisting by stocking supplies.

Scanning insurance cards, medical orders and labs.

Collecting new patient data and maintaining new patient records accordingly. 

Obtaining prior authorizations form insurance companies prior to the patient's visit. 

Assisting other staff members by providing coverage and helping with special projects as needed. 

The right candidate for the Medical Office Coordinator role must possess the following:

1-3 years in a medical office setting. 

Ability to provide high quality customer service. 

Ability to work at a fast pace to meet the needs of a busy medical office. 

Compassionate and thoughtful communication style.
