In this project, the App collects speech data in Danish to train and develop artificial intelligence algorithms used to improve speech recognition technologies.

Project Description:
The task contains a total of 1000 short sentences, which you must read on a screen and record using the Appen Mobile app. You just have to follow the sentences that are written, you don’t have to make up your own sentences.

– Example of a sentence to read: ”Okay Alexa, I need directions to work”

Time consumption:
Each sentence will take an average of 3 to 6 seconds. In total, you must plan 5 hours for the 1000 recordings. Of course, we recommend that you take breaks and we give you at least 7 days to record your session.

Required Conditions:
-Has a newer smartphone
• The iOS device must be iPhone 8 or later
• Android devices must be 2017 or newer
-You must have Danish as your mother tongue and be a resident of Denmark
-Able to record in a very quiet indoor environment, free of background noise
