Full-time Digital Marketing Manager

at Recuitmentboutique in United Kingdom

Our client, a renowned North East Peugeot dealership, was established in 1979. The organisation comprises three Peugeot-franchised dealerships in Northallerton, Stockton and Guisborough.

They are looking for an experienced and driven Digital Marketing Manager to support the growing business.

The role will be office based in the firm's Northallerton branch and will involve travel on occasion to their offices in Stockton and Guisborough.

As the successful candidate, you will lead the development of the long-term marketing strategy which will build their brand and capitalise on opportunities for continued growth.

A vast range of knowledge in all things digital marketing for business and ideally has some experience in web development and e-commerce sites

A relevant degree-level qualification

Five years of marketing experience, including managing and developing teams

The ability to demonstrate a blend of strategic capability, commercial acumen and creative thinking

A thorough understanding of digital and performance marketing with a proven track record of delivering results

An in-depth knowledge of key digital channels, including paid, social and email

Excellent communication skills

An open and adventurous mindset with a willingness to test and learn at a pace

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams running concurrently

A strong work ethic with a hands-on approach and comfortable working autonomously

Experience in developing and implementing successful comms and marketing plans

Ideally worked in the motor industry, however, this is not essential

Responsibilities are:

Managing, training and supporting their digital and performance marketing executive to ensure day-to-day activities are delivered and there is an opportunity for personal development

Setting an inspiring vision and direction for the client company brand and ensuring alignment and engagement across the wider business

Acting as a brand guardian ensuring that all marketing activity is aligned with their values and brand proposition

Developing annual brand plans that are aligned with their overall business objectives

Planning specific quarterly marketing activities that deliver against manufacturer and business priorities

Setting clear KPIs to measure and report against the performance of marketing activity

Measuring and reviewing marketing spending and make recommendations for changes in budget

Managing the overall relationship with key agency partners including paid search and PR

Working with external agency partners throughout the development process, ensuring alignment with the agreed brief, brand positioning and key consumer insight

Ensuring that all marketing activity is delivered on time and to the agreed budget

Developing a deep understanding of the industry and the consumer and identifying key actionable insights

Taking ownership of the customer journey and regularly reviewing and adapting their approach to ensure the consumer is empowered to be in control of their path to purchase

Building a strong relationship with manufacturer marketing teams to ensure alignment of key marketing activities and leverage manufacturer-produced content
