Analyst – Global Payment Operations – Hong Kong

The Candidate will be based in Hong Kong and is responsible for supporting Payments and Liquidity related activities for Hong Kong.
Support payments processing. Liaise with internal teams for end-to-end payment processing and escalate issues when required. Investigate and resolve breaks in bank reconciliations
Monitor payment processing applications. Reviews and validates payments submitted through various channels (e.g., cheques, RTGS, wire transfers) and perform voucher posting when required
Forecast and monitor incoming and outgoing funds, prioritize payment queues and maintain throughput ratios in RTGS
Investigate and resolve client queries. Adhere to internal procedures, as well as compliance and regulatory guidelines
Act as an escalation point for invoice and data processing issue
Provide inputs for quality improvements
Handle CMU functions such as CMU instrument static data and corporate action updates
Handle securities settlements
Handles monthly transaction reporting and regulatory reporting
Participate in ad-hoc projects, HKICL drills and perform system UAT
Qualification :
Associates degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3-4 years of relevant Payment and/or Liquidity monitoring experience preferred.
A good team player who can collaborate with the team members and ensure seamless ops delivery within given challenges.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with eMBT, eCMT and SWIFT
