PALS Respite Care is now seeking additional respite relief & companion care attendants to connect with families to provide them with short, temporary breaks and other duties that families may need. Pay Range: $12.70-$15.00 per hour

Full and Part Time Hours Needed


Requirements:
​
-minimum high school diploma and 3 years experience of working with children, children/individuals with unique needs and or the elderly
-must agree to have a criminal background, child protective services and drug screening
-provide at least 3 references that affirms your experience in working with children, children/individuals with unique needs and or the elderly
-must be CPR, AED, 1st aid certified
-vaccinated status strongly encouraged
-resume outlining your work experience

Respite Relief Duties include but are not limited to the following:
being patient, accommodating, loving and supportive
assisting with toileting
assisting with personal hygiene care and getting dressed
meal preparation
providing basic first aid care, CPR and or AED when necessary

Companionship Care Duties include but are not limited to:
being patient, accommodating, loving and supportive
assisting with toileting
assisting with personal hygiene care and getting dressed
meal preparation
providing basic first aid care, CPR and or AED when necessary
laundry
changing bed sheets and towels
retrieving clients’ mail
light cleaning
assisting with a transfer or walking beside clients who are unsteady
reading medication labels for clients and reminding them to take their medications (may include handing a pre-filled medication box to a client and opening the lid for them)
lifting lift loads
