Building Maintenance Mechanic
PeopleReady ofCompton, CA is now hiring Building Maintenance Mechanics! As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the entire property.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $21.50 - $23.50 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Building Maintenance Mechanic:

• Solve maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC Refresh units by installing new appliances, carpeting, and lighting
• Prepare and paint walls
• Record maintenance activities and determine schedule for upgrades
• Restore door locks and key systems
• Perform minor construction and/or carpentry work

Job requirements:

• Minimum one year of general maintenance work experience preferred
• Own tools of the trade and be able to bring them to the jobsite
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Background Check Required
