The Tax Auditor I is a non-exempt position under the direction of the Tax Audit Manager. The Tax
Auditor I performs professional level examinations of various business and governmental records
to assure compliance with the City's tax and license ordinances. Responds to questions and
complaints from the general public and other City departments.
This job description is an overview and is intended to describe the general nature and level of work
