About the job:
We are hiring a motivated and experienced Software Testing Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating software functions and designing test protocols to ensure that products work as intended. Also, you will be responsible for completing all testing procedures, and explaining test results to our in-house projects and clients.
Job Duties:
Meet with clients to discuss software specifications and controls
Develop appropriate testing strategies for software features in collaboration with teammates
Design, develop, and maintain software testing environment and test software required for automated and manual testing activities
Analyze functional requirements and create test plans
Develop and implement feature, integration, regression and system tests for new software development
Enhance the test automation system to support new testing capabilities
Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes
Create test reports, explain test results and make suggestions on software fixes
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer systems engineering or equivalent
Experienced working with modern software development languages, such as modern JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
Independent, self-starter, a good eye for detail
