Responsibility works… as a Market Data Business Specialist!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Market Data Analyst in our downtown Pittsburgh Headquarters!

What You’ll Do

As a Market Data Business Analyst, you will focus on our investment professionals’ market data applications and investment data needs, while looking more broadly across FHI to form comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps. You’ll partner with users to clarify, articulate, and document their needs, and apply knowledge of products available in the marketplace. You’ll analyze vendor proposals, negotiate agreements and contracts, provide feedback to vendors, manage service expectations, and establish guidelines for working together. You’ll have the opportunity to display your leadership skills, and analytical abilities.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field, e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics or IT required, MBA preferred
• 5+ years relevant work experience, at least 1 year within the financial services industry required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Investment Management market data role preferred
• Robust negotiation skills, with external vendor management abilities
• Knowledge of core market data applications required, e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Thomson Reuters products
The experience level of the candidate will determine level of position as Market Data Business Specialist or Sr. Market Data Business Specialist
