Waikiki Health is recruiting for a full-time Housing Associate for the Keauhou Shelter. The Housing Associate’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of clients and employees at the Keauhou Shelter.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Monitoring the shelter grounds, including working the front desk
• Completing pass-down emails
• Assisting volunteers during breakfast, lunch, or dinner
• Assist Job Training Participants with daily responsibilities
• Deescalate aggressive and/or mentally unstable clients
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients, WH staff, and associates
• Assure that client confidentiality is maintained at all times

Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a homeless shelter setting or related field preferred
• Must be able to work flexible hours (day, evening, overnight) any day throughout the weekday and/or weekend
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have basic computer skills
• Must be organized and able to complete all assigned tasks
