Full-time Manager, eCommerce Strategy

at Jobisite in Pennsylvania

The Manager, eCommerce Strategy is a digital product owner charged with maximizing Access, Experience and Trust with US healthcare customers. The individual has a unique opportunity to be the strategic leader within an eCommerce team that oversees GSK’s sophisticated, direct-sales channel currently supporting the entire portfolio of GSK Vaccines.

The Manager, eCommerce Strategy is accountable for end-to-end strategic vision and feature prioritization of GSK’s premier eCommerce platforms, GSKDirect.com and gsk-ecs.com (eCustomer Solutions). Role responsibilities include: Agile sprint planning & prioritization, eCommerce Roadmap development, Internal/external stakeholder management, EDI strategy and Core Team leadership. The manager will work closely with the eCommerce Strategy & Operations Director while partnering with matrix stakeholders in Market Access, US Commercial Business Units and US Digital/Tech. The role provides the opportunity to support dynamic brands, such as Shingrix, Bexsero and the flu portfolio, vital customers across the US through eCommerce solutions and key Market Access strategic initiatives that materially impact US Commercial operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Oversight and leadership of eCommerce Strategy, inclusive of: Sprint planning, Prioritization and valuation of enhancements, User story development, Demand generation and content lead, Core team lead, AI/Chatbot owner and Vendor management
Proactively develop eCommerce, Business Partner and Market Access strategies and provide insight to eCommerce operations
Engage Tech and Business stakeholders to ensure eCommerce initiatives are successfully achieved and monitored
Engage with Market Access and Tech stakeholders to understand and troubleshoot eCommerce issues spanning eCommerce platforms (GSKDirect & eCS), GSK systems (i.e., SAP/CERPS, CARS, etc.) and vendor solutions (i.e., Payments, PunchOut, etc.)
Lead agile sprint cycles and ensure eCommerce tactics are executed
Proactively seek input from field and marketing teams, in addition to customers, to continuously improve the customer direct-sales journey
Lead ad hoc performance reviews and own the strategy of eCommerce PowerBI dashboards
Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

B.S. in Business, IT or Tech
3 or more years’ experience marketing and/ or digital product ownership
Platform UI/UX and content management experience
Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with PowerBI knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

MBA
Understanding of eCommerce systems, digital customer experiences, and online payment platforms
Experience developing and reporting out on KPI’s/OKR’s and meaningful product metrics
Strategic Roadmap development, planning and execution experience
Knowledge of the US Vaccines and Healthcare market
Experience partnering with Business and Tech colleagues with ability to process dynamic business situations and determine how those impact eCommerce strategy
Experience managing vendors and/or leading large project workstreams
Ability to contribute to matrix team meetings that include Channel, Market Access, US Tech and US Pharma Brand BU's
Ability to support marketing and/or business strategic and operational planning cycles
