Federated Hermes is looking for a Senior Auditor to develop, coordinate, and execute on test strategies for software to ensure the excellent performance of solutions. The Senior Auditor assists with planning and performing SOX 404, operational, compliance, financial and third party service provider audits. This position is in our Pittsburgh, PA office.

What You Can Expect:
• Assisting our Audit Management in planning, performing and documenting SOX 404 audits
• Performing all phases of assigned audits including planning and internal control assessments, testing of controls and reporting of results and recommendations
• Acting as in-charge auditor and leading on-site engagements
• Making recommendations to correct deficiencies identified through audit testing
• Reviewing audit workpapers
• Training Staff Auditors
• Assisting in the performance of special reviews
• Assisting in the review of potential audit topics and audit approach, and making recommendations for improvement

What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related financial field
• At least two years of auditing experience
• CIA, CPA, CISA or willingness to pursue certification
• Experience in the mutual fund or financial services industry preferred
• Experience conducting operational/process audits is a plus
• Experience with data analytics concepts/tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word
