Accounting Clerk
at Xentris Wireless in Illinois
Position Description:
•Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
•Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.
•Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
•Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
•Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.
•RMA transactions.
•Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the public
Position Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Previous experience as an accounts payable clerk or similar (Preferred)
•Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, email, and accounting software
•Ability to prioritize and multitask
•Be able to work in a team environment with open communication
•Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
•Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge
