Forgeline Machine Operator

Pay: $13.00/hr

Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Job Description: Each line is made up of a (3) man crew. The equipment used consists of the following:

Induction Heating System, Up setter, Trim Press, Hydraulic Punching Machine

The following is a brief description of duties for each stage of manufacturing forged points. It does not include individual machine start-up and operating procedures. To get this information, refer to the placard on the front of each machine to get specific operating procedures.

First Phase: Induction Heater

Billets are to be loaded by each crew member at the start of their break. Simply load billets onto conveyor tables.

Second Phase: Up setter and Trim Press

The operator picks up the hot billet with a pair of hand tongs and places it in the first cavity of the tooling. Upon correctly positioning the billet, the operator engages the machine. He then moves to the second cavity, third, and fourth repeating the same process.
