Full-time Business Development Specialist

at Jobisite in California

LED Trucking Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and sales-oriented Business Development Specialist with specialty in sales contracts within the Trucking Industry. The BDS is responsible for achieving sales goals and creating a repeat pipeline of business by successfully obtaining sales contracts for LED Trucking Inc. BDS responsibilities include identifying and targeting new customers, implementing vertical market strategies, engaging in community business events, conducting optimization analyses, proposing creative solutions for new and existing customers, and responding and providing pricing. LED Trucking Inc.is managed by Sacramento Managing Company.

Job Responsibilities:
-Build an organically grown pipeline of new and existing LED Trucking Inc. customers
-Measurably develop and close sales leads successfully
-Develop and deliver customer presentations
-Retain and grow existing customer base
-Negotiate contract terms, contract structure, and product lines
-Develop proposals and build customer solutions
-Assist the CEO with the development of a corporate sales strategy for contracts
-Collaborate with Sales groups for contracted client retention
-Work with and develop strong relations with the corporate sales team
-Manage key administrative tasks
-Respond and provide pricing in a timely manner
-Report internal & external business reviews
-Establish goals and objectives for sales with the CEO
-Meet goals and objectives for sales
-Pipeline reporting
-Monitor KPIs for customer satisfaction
-Maintain a predetermined number of monthly target accounts and demonstrate active attention to those accounts and progress toward closing
-All other duties, as assigned.

Talent Requirements:
-Minimum of two (2) years of successful sales experience with a proven winning track record for developing new business and expanding business base required
-Minimum of three (3) years of Trucking Industry experience is required
-High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred
-Must have a verifiable rolodex of broker connections
-Proficient in relationship building throughout clients to include C-level executives
-Ability to communicate and negotiate with corporate-level staff-boardroom presence
-Strong general business acumen
-Effective negotiation skills
-Effective outreach and follow-up skills
-Able to demonstrate professional phone etiquette
-Demonstrate a high customer service commitment
-Strong analytical skills – ability to assess, design, and sell a given solution
-Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues
-Effective planning and organizational skills to schedule appointments appropriately and meet reporting deadlines
-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast paced environment
