Full-time Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Developer - 2575

at Three Saints Bay, LLC in Maryland

Eagle Harbor, LLC is looking for a Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Developer to support services at the government's request in Baltimore, MD.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- MPC development includes TCTO MPCs developed in accordance with Surface Forces TCTO Process Guide CGTO PG-85-00-40-S. It also includes providing technical guidance to field technicians for corrective maintenance procedures, which are in most cases delivered informally via telephone, email or message. Development of MPCs in support of TCTOs will be a large portion of the work of this requirement, and will require close coordination with the TCTO Project Officers.
- Validate MPCs; The Coast Guard may determine that an MPC requires physical validation. Physical validation means that the MPC will be accomplished by a qualified maintenance activity. As directed by the COR, the Contractor may be required to support MPC validation wherever it occurs. The Contractor will observe the maintenance activity accomplish the MPC, document discrepancies, and revise the MPC. The Contractor will not perform the maintenance action.
- Provide assistance in the development of HM&E Maintenance Procedure Cards as directed by the COR.
- Support the Maintenance Feedback system following the CG-22 process located on the SFLC Central website.
- Prepare and deliver completed copies of documentation developed to the COR or as directed by the COR.
- Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis when required by the Coast Guard. RCM is used to develop maintenance requirements for systems affected by design changes. RCM analysis documentation shall be submitted to the Coast Guard for review and approval.
- Provide assistance in the development of Maintenance Procedure Cards for assorted system, equipment, and structures using applicable references and standard repair specifications.
- Comply with the task completion time set in the milestones set in SFLC Central or the COR designated tracking database. If the contractor cannot complete the assigned task by the date required, he/she shall notify the COR at least five days prior to the scheduled date.
- Complete any other maintenance procedure card support tasks in support of the repair and maintenance of LRE PL assets as assigned by the COR.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of two years experience (4+ preferred) providing USCG entities with HM&E Maintenance Procedure Card Development for various CG assets, to include, but not limited to 282’ WMEC, 378’ WHEC, 399’ WAGB, 418’ WMSL, and 420’ WAGB.
- Technical experience in the operation, repair, and support of HM&E equipment.
- Proficient in the use of Coast Guard Standard Workstation III.
- Good writing skills, utilizing the applicable documentation resources.
- Experience in Microsoft® Power Point©, Microsoft® Word©, Microsoft® Access©, Microsoft Paint®, and Microsoft® Excel©.
- Knowledge of the Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) supply support procedures.
- O-Level MPCs shall be written at the comprehension level of a recent graduate from a rated technical school (A school). The capability to produce professional quality MPCs via IDE is required.
- Currently have or be able to obtain RCM training
- RCM analysts are required to be certified by the Coast Guard or NAVSEA as RCM analysts. If personnel are not already RCM certified upon task award, they must attain certification within 3 months.
