Winch Assembly

Winch company with great reputation is seeking a winch assembler.

Pay: $14.50/hour

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Days: Monday - Friday

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma


Job Description:

The Winch Assembler 1 wires and assembles mechanical components for winches on at least one product sub-assembly line according to blueprints and Bill of Materials.


Skills/Qualifications/Requirements:

• Read and interpret BOM structure to be able to support production.
• Utilize measurement equipment while building product, as required.
• Utilize pneumatic and hand tool to assist with building product.
• Utilize overhead crane to safely lift larger part of finished good.
• Safely utilize press to connect gear to shaft.
• Package finished good for shipment as needed.
• Perform final test of product such as air check, leak test or amp test.
• An employee is responsible for making sure all product has proper identification prior to moving between processes and including to or from the warehouse storage area. Product must include one of the following forms of identification including, job or sales order, bill of material, routing sheet placard with part number noting product etc. All material needs to have proper identification, no exceptions.
• Other duties as assigned.


Education:

• Six months of mechanical assembly or maintenance technician experience and/or training.


Job Duties:

• Communicate information clearly to co-workers, lead, and supervisor.
• Knowledge of the use of a variety of basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers).
• General knowledge of machines and equipment functionality.
• Demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, and optimism for work activities. This includes the willingness to take ownership for work activities.
• Identify problems and to assist with resolution.
• Interact cooperatively and collaboratively with others as a team.
• Detail-oriented.
