Job Position: Financial Associate, Investment Acquisitions
Job Description:

• Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, Comparable Companies and Comparable Transactions (Comps), M&A models, and/or LBO models.
• Build 3-statement financial models to gain a better understanding of the prospective targets’ current financial status and the impact of the projected business plan on each of the three financial statements.
• Review business plans provided by the prospective targets to understand the feasibility of their projections and the implications on the operations of the company.
• Review financial documents shared by the prospective targets to identify potential issues, and areas of concern.
• Prepare and present industry insights and valuation assessments to the investment committee for more informed decisions.
• Create presentations for partners and other external parties involved in potential investments regarding potential risks and opportunities in specific targets or industries as a whole.
• Monitor developments and economic trends of potential targets analyzing their financial performance, key strengths and weaknesses, sustainability of revenues and margins, their competitive landscape, dynamics and trends of the industry where such targets operate.
• Develop a pipeline of potential opportunities through company screenings on specialized financial platforms (such as CapitalIQ, Pitchbook, Refinitiv, Fact Set).
• Identity new trends and potential investments and present the findings to the investment committee. This involves being up to date with news, doing research on various industries.
• Develop automated tools to identify opportunities on the public markets through fundamental analysis, with emphasis on cash flows, operating metrics, profitability, debt levels and cash balances.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Economy or Finance or its foreign degree equivalent

We have a strong preference for people with:
• Prior experience in investment banking or private equity
• Proficient with financial modeling and producing outstanding presentations
