Accounting Specialist
Pay: $16-$20/hr.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-5:00PM
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Description:
What will be your purpose at this company? Your general purpose as the accounting specialist will be to accurately maintain all of the supporting functions of creating the monthly financials. You will be responsible for billing customers, paying vendors, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
What will your major work functions and desired outcomes be?
1. Maintain financials. As the accounting specialist you will be responsible for meticulously maintaining the books. The books should be kept as accurate and current as possible so that management can look at them in real time to get a precise reflection of where the company stands.
2. Invoice customers. The accounting specialist should bill customers for parts delivered within one business day of the shipment. It is critical that all invoicing is accurate, and that approval is sought on all credits/adjustments.
3. Pay vendors. The accounting specialist is responsible for paying vendors in a timely manner. Past due invoices that are unacceptable. All back-up material supporting the payment to the vendor is required.
4. Reconcile bank statements. The accounting specialist will reconcile bank statements monthly and “close out” the month on a timely basis.
5. Collections. The accounting specialist will ensure that payment is received in a timely manner from our customers and work to resolve any past due invoices.
Job Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
You must maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, and all aspects of financials.
Education in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred, but not required.
Aerospace manufacturing and multi-state experience preferred.
The accounting specialist should be precise in all areas of his or her job as attention to detail is paramount to the successful completion of daily tasks.
The Accounting specialist should have familiarity with MRP/ERP software and preferably JobBOSS.
The Accounting specialist needs to know 10-key and all the aspects of Microsoft Office Suite.
