We are currently looking for an experienced Thai Localization Project Manager to deliver and manage localization and translation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives from scope to delivery in a closed-loop process, prioritizing in an ever-evolving environment.
• Help to research and incorporate Machine Translation (MT) best practices and innovation into our localization and translation strategy.
• Work closely with different translation agencies to deliver translation and localization for multiple launch projects
• Manage the quality reviewers to deliver ongoing quality auditing and reporting, track of ongoing assigned tasks
• Support and maintain Translation Memories (TM) and terminology database that grows in volume
• Obtain source files from requesters and/or curriculum development team, analyze files and source content for localizability, and flag any risk
• Prepare for handoff package and send to the vendor
• Verification of Hand back from the vendor
• Query management
• Track and monitor project status, and manage queries from vendors
• Feed any source related issues back to curriculum development
• Escalation management
• Tracking and reporting of performance metrics
• Consolidation of operations and quality metrics
• Assist with operational tasks. E.g. data entries and sorting.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 to 10 years of Localization experience
• Thai native speaker
• BA/BS or 5+ years equivalent work experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management
• Thorough understanding of translation technologies: translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, etc.
• Familiar with Content Management Systems
• Communication skills, experience to work effectively across time zones and cultures
• Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of additional languages other than English
• Familiarity with Localization Environment and Tools
• Experience working with a global team
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well
• Self-driven and able to be both strategic and execution-oriented
