Position: Database Administrator
Location: Muscat - Sultanate of Oman
Contract Period: 12 months

Job Description:
Aman is looking for a highly capable Database Administrator for Oracle Database (11G). The
Database Administrator must have extensive knowledge in the maintenance, design and
management of databases, as well of being capable in supervising and storing the data.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to design and document various database models.
- Capable of designing data storage operations and smart work platforms.
- Develop schemas, tables, and procedures for databases.
- Carrying out the process of sharing data and partitioning hard disks.
- Able to determine the use of databases and automated reports.
- Knowledge in the use of programming languages such as shell scripts to automate
tasks.
-Create, test and install data management languages.
- Able to analyze database and data center capabilities and performance requirements
such as checking the available free space and the size of the base.
- Analyzing, integrating and modifying databases to achieve their maximum efficiency.
- Able to monitor systems and platforms.
- Overseeing the operations of data backup, matching, aggregation and overcoming
failures.
- Download updates and test patches.
- Implementation of security controls and encryption.
- Able to provide technical support throughout the week.
- Able to evaluate and recommend modern technologies in the field of databases.
- Able to maintain and upgrade the system.

Qualifications:
- Specialist and a holder of an Oracle 11G certificate.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any other related field.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the field.
-To be proficient in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
