ETL SQL DEVELOPER

at Jobisite in Manila

Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output:

- Perform data management and extraction-transformation-loading (ETL) of data used for data analysis for the asset and liabilities management reports in TD, including but not limited to:
- Development of ETL code, metadata definitions and models, queries and reports, schedules, work processes, and maintenance procedures.
- Manages automation of file processing as well as all ETL processes within a job workflow.
- Develop and deploy ETL job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback framework.
- Manage software upgrades, capacity planning and system optimization.
- Perform the unit testing, SIT, and assist with UAT and production support
- Adapt ETL code to accommodate changes in source data and new business requirements.
- Document the ETL detailed design and test results.
- Ensure data quality, compliance with regulatory requirements for data transmission, storage, and access including documentation, testing, and remediation.
- Collaborate with ITD subject matter experts, ADB’s Treasury Department (TD) to define and execute cross-functional data movements for all aspects of TD asset and liability application
- Develops technical understanding of how the data flows from sources to the client application

Technical skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience required
At least 3 years experience in managing data lineage and performing impact analyses
At least 3 years with ETL tool dev using Oracle PLSQL (12c)/MS SQL Server preferred
Solid experience and knowledge in creating packages and SQL scripts
At least 3 years of experience in SQL optimization, performance tuning, and code security
At least 3 years experience in ETL design, documentation and/or data mapping skills
At least 3 years experience in using tools such as SQL Developer and Toad
At least 3 years experience in metadata definitions and models, creation of jobs and/or schedules
Experience in automation and/or loading data from spreadsheets, text files, etc.
Experience in translating requirements into fully functioning ETL Oracle/SQL Server batch
Intermediate knowledge of data warehousing process and any reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI)
Good to have: Java UI development skills

Soft skills:
Intermediate experience in data analysis and data integration
Intermediate experience in the analysis of data (financial)
Good with numbers, logical and analytical and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
Ability to articulate and document processes and workflows for ITD and TD stakeholders
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Capacity to solve complex technical problems timely
Excellent written and oral communication skills
